Our materials and their care
We only use natural materials for our hand-knotted carpets. Every production step is made by hand - from spinning to dyeing to knotting and washing the carpet.
Wool is obtained from healthy, living sheep. It is breathable and temperature-regulating. For our collections made in Nepal, we exclusively use Tibetan highland wool.
The giant nettle obtained in Nepal - one of the world's most sustainable plants - possesses high tear resistance and moisture absorption. It stands out with its unique colour, which is referred to as "smoke" in our Nepal collection.
Real Silk is characterized by its beautiful sheen and strength durability. It hardly tends to crease and gives our complex "by hand" carpets that extra touch of luxury.
